Just curious, is there any potential that orbit, or some kind of add on to it might be able to provide live data logging of data from sensors etc. for troubleshooting in the future.
hello, i have XC90 2016 from USA, i live in EU. Originally there were installed halogen lights with no auto adjustment. I received MID LED US lamps (31446535 31446534) i changed wiring according to diagram from xc90 LED lights. I programmed the following options: 106 headlight type - 07 LED without bending light, type A, Mid Range. 107 exterior light logic - 04 dedicated Day Running Light in pos Auto. 108 DRL-type - dedicated daytime running light (DDRL) on during day light. 109 - active high beam - 02 with AHB1 on/off low beam in village. After programming LED lights working, positioning lights works, low beam works, high beam works as well, on position auto, DRL works, but when there is dark outside its not automatically turning low beam lights. I have following errors like in picture. Ignore errors about rear end of the car there are both lights missing, will install them later. U1323 and U1322 errors i think is because there are no lamps level sensors in front and back of the car (originally with halogen lights these sensors was not installed by factory) Any idea why my Auto DRL function not working and why i have the rest of errors. As well what is the difference 07 -type A and 08- Type B options? Thanks for your help
So, long story short: I have a US Spec 2023 XC-40 (Android Automotive) in Turkey. Volvo says that I only have data service in the US for my car, so my car doesn't have a lot of the functionality I thought I would have unless I tether via bluetooth/wifi...
HOWEVER there is a SIM card slot next to the cabin lights and I assume that there is someway to activate this? Anyone have insights?
I recently purchased and physically installed a "Hidden Hitch" with light control module on my 2018 V90CC so I could use a bike rack with a multi-function light bar as well as tow our kayak trailer that needs its lights operated to be compliant. It's not the electronically controlled factory hitch, it's manually operated, but the one I got does have the 2" receiver I needed vs the smaller 1-1/4" one that comes with the factory unit. Anyway, the hitch came with a Volvo control module that is supposedly "compatible" with my car (though the PN came up as the one for a P3??). The instructions say the car needs to be "told" the control module is there to have the trailer lights work correctly and to not freak out and think I'm backing into a wall every time I throw the car in Reverse, LoL. I've looked through and "searched" the OrBit (and SwedeSpeed) forums but am not seeing if this is something I can turn on myself via the OrBit Settings list, or is it a dealer only update that needs to happen? Anyone know, and if so what OrBit ID or IDs should I be looking at?
When researching OrBit I also came across a post that said you can use OrBit to turn on the car's "PoleStar" mode instead of its current "Dynamic" mode. Anyone know if that's true and if so what the ID or IDs are for that change?
Lastly, the following was unclear to me. Do I just need the $100/yr subscription and OrBit will allow me to retrieve the CEM PIN via the Expert Toolbox functions? Or for the 1st year do I still need the "Retrieve CEM" subscription for the Expert Toolbox function to be activated so I can get the needed CEM PIN?
Thanks for helping me get started with OrBit!
PS: Is there a list or spreadsheet of OrBit IDs and what options are available under each ID posted somewhere?
Can OrBit enable this functionality? Would love to take a peek what hidden features are stored in the developer section of the infotainment system. On Android phones this mode is available but hidden and it's called Developer options.
Hello, I have seen in the configuration that there is an option to enable the heated wipers, if I would buy heated wipers how should I connect them and enable the option from the configuration.
Did someone managed to do this?
