i'd like to know if Orbit software can help me repair my infotainment system software. I previously updated it over the air (OTA), and now my 2023 XC40 Recharge is unusable. I don't even have a radio or climate controls, let alone a backup camera.

Hi guys, today while entering the tunnel I got headlamp leveling error on dash...

DTCs are:

B14C281 Head Lamp Input. Bus Signal / Message Failures. Invalid serial data received
B15A323 Headlamp Swiveling Feedback Sensor. General Signal Failures. Signal stuck low

It was hot day, normal driving, nothing out of ordinary.
I have tried to delete DTC but headlights are not moving... After some time DTC B15A323 returns.

Should I just throw this headlight away, or can it still be fixed?

Hey folks,
I see on swedespeed, and reddit, some folks had swapped out the 9in screen for the 11.2
I bought a Polestar 2 screen,#32316263AA from a reputable ebay seller, and the  listing also showed screen on in car, in the listing. I installed it, and have tried both the Polestar and Volvo 11.2 options in Orbit, but screen has no display. I CAN see the backlighting come on, with either option, but no display. Backlighting does not come on with 9in selected. I assume folks have done this, as the options are in Orbit, but am I missing something? Im on 5.0.5 software.

Does the change from standard to polestar mode in Orbit change transmission behavior also in other modes than power/polestar? 2021 Volvo s60 T8

Would anyone be able to help me with a set of schematic diagrams for my UK model Diesel XC40 2020 year please.
I want to follow the antenna wiring from the roof antenna to the internet modem unit in the boot so that I can replace the modem with a 4G / 5G one.
I can see that the modem has 2 Fakra connectors attached, I am intending to use these with suitable RF adaptors to connect to the Teltonika RUT unit which I will fit in place of the Volvo unit.

A Google search has proved fruitless to find anything helpful.

I want to add an ambient light that is powered by 12V. I looked for it in the door wiring harness with a multimeter, but the lighting is powered by 5V. Could someone tell me where I can find the 12V power supply after the ignition is turned on in the doors and near the steering column?

as my Volvo XC40 D4 R Design 2019 most probably need a replacement of  the ad blue Injector.
After the replacement the new injector need to be adapted.
Does Orbit give a solution with this?

Can anyone advise e on this please?

Hello all,

New Orbit user and new owner of a 2023 C40 Recharge.
I will try to be brief. There are 3 things I am trying to resolve with my vehicle.

1) Noise from behind upper dashboard area on passenger side. I can best describe the sound as a muffled motorboat or "flub flub flub" sound. It randomly occurs when starting vehicle and last 15-30 seconds and then subsides.

2) Tailgate actuators that will not open the tailgate unless I offer an initial upward push. They travel the rest of the way with no problem.
Is the torque on these actuators something that is adjustable in Orbit?

3) Constant issues with media center. Pandora will crash regularly. Sound settings do not "stick' in memory. I have to hold center button on screen to restart the media center.
I have followed the procedure to completely reset the media center. It works for a week and then it doesn't. I this a hardware failure, known bugs or a mix?

Other than these 3 things I am having a wonderful time with the vehicle and I can see myself slipping into another one of these in the future. I still have warranty coverage so if there are recommended steps I should take at the dealer, I can. I have never been to my local dealer. I bought this car out-of-state.

• ID 406 – Performance Software (NOT VOLVO)
  

• What does ID 406 actually do?
  
• What is it intended for if it says "NOT VOLVO"?
  
• Does it unlock any additional drive modes or performance-related features?
  
• Does it change throttle response, transmission behavior or vehicle identification?
  
• Does it require additional software to have any effect?
  
• Does ID 049 enable anything useful on a T8?
