Transmission fluid counter reset - possible with Orbit?
Posted by: sorinnico - 02-10-2026, 11:12 AM - Forum: OrBit Q&A - Ask your questions here! - Replies (1)

Hi,

I have XC40 B4 AWD 2021 with automatic 8 speed transmission, I want to change the transmission fluid, is it possible to reset the counter so that the transmission knows that it has new fluid? Or something like oil abrasion counter.
I've read that this is available with VIDA.
If yes, please someone can give me some instructions how to do it with Orbit.

Thanks

  Weird hvac issue
Posted by: gapbrother - 02-08-2026, 07:02 PM - Forum: OrBit Q&A - Ask your questions here! - No Replies

Recently purchased a 2018 xc90. NYC based. Weird thing happening with my hvac. Cold air blowing out of front vents when I set temp to hi and ironically when I set temp to lo hot air comes out. I’m thinking maybe a reset/calibration of the hvac but figured I’d ask here on the forum. Thx

Anyone in the NYC area with orbit expertise who can help me get acquainted?

I am going to sell my V60 and just wondering if settings done by Orbit software Navigation,Android Auto,Apple Carplay etc will disappear when doing a factory reset for a new owner in the center panel (Sensus) of the car?

  ABL headlight issues
Posted by: Cbloggs - 02-07-2026, 09:27 AM - Forum: OrBit Q&A - Ask your questions here! - No Replies

Hi, I’m having trouble diagnosing a fault with the active bending headlights on a 2018 XC90. Every time I use the headlights I get a headlight service required message and the following codes are confirmed:

HCML-U2F0078 Headlamp control module swivelling motor alignment or adjustment incorrect
HCMR-U2F0078 Headlamp control module swivelling motor alignment or adjustment incorrect
HCMR-B15A323 Headlamp swivelling feedback sensor - general signal failures - signal stuck low
CEM-B14C281 Headlamp input - bus signal/message failures - invalid serial data received

Local Volvo garage are scratching their heads too! They’ve tried recalibrating the suspension level sensors.

Any ideas? Seems strange both headlights would have issues at the same time unless they’re connected somehow.

Massage seat only on drivers side?
Posted by: AnttiH31 - 02-06-2026, 10:48 PM - Forum: Retrofitting - Replies (4)

I currently have heated/ventilated seats with adjustable side support. I want to add massage but don't need it for the passenger side. I've bought a complete seat which has the massage function.

As I have side support, I shouldn't need to do any additional wiring. But will the seat modules work together ok with the other seat not having massage?

Will I be fine with just coding the feature in and the drivers side massage will work?

  Headlights problem Xc60 after flashing
Posted by: FilipT8 - 02-06-2026, 06:43 PM - Forum: OrBit Q&A - Ask your questions here! - Replies (1)

After I used Orbit wizard for first time (to add pilot assist level 2 - I  have 1) my drivers side headlight beam dropped down and cannot move up. I have factory full led beams and corner moving lights and I havent changed anything for lights. I tried reset ECU, restore back to factory car settings and nothing. Now my left headlight is like foglight.Matrix isxworking fine, I can see lighs are moving but left one is on the floor.
Anyone had similar problem? Picture in attachment. I drove my car , no errors on dashboard and when scanning ecu. This is big concern for me.
Xc60 2018 T8

Thanks

  Media autoplay?
Posted by: TaKu88 - 02-05-2026, 04:55 PM - Forum: Audio / Visual - No Replies

Its really annoying that every time door is opened the media starts up and music starts. Often the car is unlocked and going to open doors without staring the car and with cold weather its pointless load for the batery.
Is there any setting to change that?

Retrofit front bumper 2021 to 2018
Posted by: FilipT8 - 02-04-2026, 02:47 PM - Forum: Retrofitting - No Replies

Anyone manage to retrofit their front bumper. Does 2022 year bumper fits to 2018. Cables, sensors and bumpers screw itself?
