Some of us in europe have not very high purchasing power, it could be great if you can activate 4x Paypal payment so we can buy the tool without screwing the budget  (225$ is 1/10 of our household income lol). I got my volvo used and high mileage for cheap and we do maintainance ourselves.

Evening all,

Is it possible to download ISGM software? I’d like to try find the vin stored on it as it’s not the original one for the car.

We had replaced the ISGM with a used unit before realising the engine was broken so had lost the original unit. Only just realised it needs coding!

Happy to buy software required but as it stands I’m assuming I would need a new unit and Vida

I'm getting ready to do some configuration changes on my 2020 Volvo V60 T4. I know it's critical to maintain stable battery voltage to avoid bricking a module, but I want to make sure I have the right equipment.
I currently have a NOCO GENIUS5 (5A), but I'm concerned 5 Amps won't be enough to counteract the car's electrical draw while the ignition is on for an extended period.
My questions for the community are:
Is a 5A charger (like the NOCO GENIUS5) sufficient for simple, quick config changes? My research suggests I need more, but I'd like to hear from those who've done it.
What capacity (Amps) do you recommend for programming/flashing on these cars? I've seen recommendations ranging from a minimum of 20A up to professional units at 55A+.
What specific charger/power supply do you use? Any recommendations for a reliable unit with a dedicated Power Supply (PSU) or Re-flash mode?
I want to avoid a dreaded voltage drop mid-programming! Thanks in advance for the advice!

For several years now, Vida has been increasingly blocking changes to software and hardware, so I began to wonder whether Volvo would also want to use its Volvo Cars app to restrict the freedom of our cars 

I wonder what data the Volvo smartphone app currently has access to. Is it possible that in the future, or perhaps even now, Volvo will be able to read changes in the car's software through its logs? I don't know exactly what information the app sends to the database, and it seems impossible that it would report any changes in the software, but am I right ?

I have ordered a full B&W speaker set for volvo s90, I've opened up the door panels on the rear door, and see there are no mounting point for the tweeters, for the midrange there are some holes for screws to go into, does anyone know what screws i need and/or how i can mount the tweeters. Also, i have a green connector coming to where speakers should be but arent on my base audio. the connector has 4 wires going into it from the back so im assuming it could be for the missing speakers, does this mean i can just cut the connector and wire up the speakers or does it probably lead to no where on the amp side.

Any help is greatly appreciated thanks

Got a Canadian spec 2021 V60 T6 R-Design and we can use the fog lights with DRL, only '' problem'' is that the DRL will dim when turning on the fog lamps. Is there ''code'' to keep full brightness of the DRLs while turning ON the fog lamps?

Hi everyone, 
I own a V60 from 2023, I got it second hand and I found out Volvo's policy regarding ACC/copilot... I was really shocked that in a car where there are so many features, you don't get a default ACC, even a basic one... 

Anyway.. frustration aside, I found out about Orbit and SPAyce Tech, read some articles and decided to get the full package to finally unlock the ACC.

The team was amazing, after one hour, they already sent me the PINs for my car, and really easily after seeing the tutorial I connected, inserted the pins and with the wizard activated ACC lev 1 on my car, since I was browsing around the settings I've also increased the spped limit and chenged the theme skin to Polestar, mostly for curiositi on how it would appear....

Well, carefully following instructions and the Orbit process car was instructed, turn on and off etc etc... but after it finished I've turned it on and after receiving an error for the brakes I coudn't see any difference in the screen skin whatsoever, though I've notice that the speed was not like before but instead of stopping at 200 now after 180 there is a dashed line going to 240.
But that was the only thing that changed... no ACC was appearing, only normal cruise was available when I took her for a spin...

So I left and I'll get there tomorrow to see if it was only a question of time needed for the changes to take place... if nothing changes, I'll reset to OEM and try to apply only ACC...
Does somebody else got any similar problem?
