Hi all,
TLDR: I can't enable Navigation with Orbit when 04 with Nav is set.
Quick background.
I have a 2019 S60. I have the Navigation package.
About a year ago the OTA map update failed, I tried to update it with a USB. It failed and ever sense my navigation says: Navigation not available.
It is also greyed out in the Settings.
I recently tried Orbit, was able to connect, everything worked.
My Current setting before any changes to 223 Navigation System and Internet Map was: 04 With Connected navigation, with Internet Map.
What I did was selected 01 Without Connected, wrote to system and disconnected.
Then I selected 04 With Connected Nav, wrote to system and disconnected.
Right now the car still shows, Navigation not available.
I've also loaded maps onto a USB and tried to update them, but nothing happens. Also no maps show in the Download Maps for OTA updates.
Has anyone resolved this in the past or have any ideas I can try?

Where do you live and which map did you try to install?
I have seen somewhere, maybe in some menu in orbit a command for delete all maps from the car. I would do that and then try to install new base map from usb. Europe, USA etc depending where are you living. It sounds like there has been some kind of bug in update.

I'm in US.
It was definitely some bug that corrupted something. That's why i was trying to do a remove and add.
This is a good thought. I found the 209 Road and Traffic that had RTI Map. I'll try this.
My next move would be a complete reset, but i'm not 100% sure how to do that.
You HDD is corrupt (or broken). It's not going to be configuration that's the issue here - if you're seeing this message it's because the IHU thinks you have nav.
I'm not really sure this is something that OrBit is going to be able to assist in resolving. You're likely going to need to visit a dealership on this one. A reload might work - but they will likely try and sell you a new IHU, which is technically unnecessary.

Yeah that's what I've been afraid of and I know it's not going to be cheap.
I also have Vida and used it in the past. I have been looking for a way to do a complete wipe and reload of Sensus but i haven't found a DIY solution for that yet.
Honestly it's not effecting me day to day just more of an annoyance and I like fixing problems so I want to try something before spending money at the dealer.

Then put in a USB with the entire NA map.
The car picked up the drive (for the first time). Installed the maps. Turned off the car and locked it for 30 minutes (not sure if that was necessary).
Now the Navigation is back.
Did you try to install entire NA before? If you tried to install map of some smaller area before and entire NA at this time that might be the solution. Thats why I asked before which map did you try to install. Nice to hear you got it fixed.

Yes, I tried the full map several times. I have multiple USB drives, I tried 2.0 and 3.0, FAT, exFAT, NTFS. I was about to give up.
Oh well. I learned how to use Orbit and this will help clear my stupid On Call Service Required because of an old VCM battery. Just ordered the battery so this should be easier.
