  Echo during phone calls
Posted by: Sodertalje - 01-12-2026, 08:09 AM - Forum: Audio / Visual - No Replies

When I make phone calls, I get many complaints for the called party that there is an echo. It goes away when you lower the volume, but then you cannot hear the other side anymore on the highway. I had this with my previous car also and was hoping it went away with another car, but sadly the echo is still there.

Anyone who has this also and is there a solution to it?

  Air Suspension Calibration xc90 T8
Posted by: zhaoshi8848 - 01-12-2026, 08:00 AM - Forum: Chassis - No Replies

Today, when I went to adjust the air suspension, I encountered the message "Air suspension calibration not possible, for the following reason: Suspension is in service mode, calibration not possible". I then went to another interface to adjust the Air Suspension "Service Mode" to "Normal Mode", but it failed. What seems to be the problem? What should I do next?

  EU market change

I have a question about the European certificate or a market change, has anyone done that? My dealer says nothing much changes with that and it costs not cheap.

  Issue Disabling Auto Start/Stop on XC60 B4 (2022, AAOS)
Posted by: tomi - 01-08-2026, 07:31 PM - Forum: Engine / Transmission - Replies (2)

Hi All,
I went through a similar topic on the forum (e.g. https://forums.spaycetech.com/showthread...79#pid3579), but unfortunately I couldn’t find an answer to my issue.

I have a Volvo XC60, 2022, AAOS, B4 diesel, mild-hybrid. Using Orbit Config Wizard, I changed the Auto Start/Stop setting to “No Button – Always Off”. Writing the configuration to the car completed successfully. I also made changes related to Driving Aid, which worked fine as well. There are no DTCs or other issues reported.
However, disabling Start/Stop does not seem to work. The car somehow appears to be ignoring this setting. I’ve attached screenshots from Orbit connected to the car.
For reference, Pilot Assist works fine.

Do you have any ideas whether this could be related to this specific engine Start/Stop system, or if there is anything else I could try?

Thanks in advance for your help.

What is the dreaded vida "blacklist"?
Posted by: acoutts - 01-08-2026, 02:42 PM - Forum: OrBit Q&A - Ask your questions here! - Replies (1)

I just want to better understand what the vida blacklist means. I see it referenced a lot here.

Doing some testing with my 2016 xc70, I have attempted to order software reloads with modified CEM and all I've seen so far is the software load will fail saying the config does not match the expected config, and then I have to pay for the software again after i restore the CEM config to factory settings.

I've found doing a config test for $0.99 works to verify the config before ordering a more expensive software reload.

Is there another layer to this like you car can actually be blacklisted from connecting to vida entirely?

  Missing Forum Dark Mode
Posted by: SashaSolitaire - 01-07-2026, 05:21 PM - Forum: Bugs / Feedback - Replies (6)

Since yesterday, I am missing the option to view the forum in dark mode. And I don't see that option anywhere. Did something change and if so, can we get the dark mode back?

  Front Fog Wiring
Posted by: juzzmee - 01-07-2026, 12:50 PM - Forum: Retrofitting - Replies (1)

Hi all,

I’ve done up the front fogs but wondering how can I get the wires from the engine bay to the interior? Currently running the wires from the side door, so I’m actually worried if opening and closing the door will eventually wear the wires down.

I’m driving a 2018 XC40 T4 RHD.

TIA

  wrong location XC90 MY16
Posted by: TECHNIKO - 01-03-2026, 02:12 PM - Forum: Car Connectivity - No Replies

I have a problem with my GNSS location on my 2016 Volvo XC90 D5. Everything was working perfectly, but then, I think due to a mistake with vDash or Orbit, I ended up in Sweden even though I live in France and my Volvo is originally French and not imported. Since December 15, 2024, it's located in Sweden. I've tried everything: restoring the original vDash and Orbit settings, and restoring the IHU, but nothing works. However, when I go into Orbit, I can see the correct location in DID 9006, but not on my GPS screen. I don't know what mistake I might have made. Could you help me? Thank you in advance.

  V60 webasto retrofit
Posted by: matuuu - 01-02-2026, 07:38 AM - Forum: Retrofitting - No Replies

Hello.
I would like to add a Webasto to my 2020 V60.
Has anyone done this retrofit?
CCM shows the pre-heating option, but only runs the interior fan.
I assume I only need the heater unit, piping, and wiring?
Thanks to everyone!
