Daytime Running Lights (modify to stay on even when lights switch is off) Canada RIV
Posted by: Fazzu - 03-10-2023, 05:10 PM - Forum: Lights - Replies (12)

Hi, is it possible with this software to make daytime running lights to stay on even when the light stalk (light switch shift) is in off position but vehicle engine is started or car is put in Drive Mode?

Also can the vehicle be set to remote start with this on the key fob, making not require the app subscription?

Also if there is a link for the cable recommended to use with 2021 XC90 Plug in hybrid (PHEV)?

Thanks

Now I could take over a nice used MacBook, but that doesn't work with OrBit, not Windows but MacOS. So I created a second partition on the MacBook today and installed Windows10 on it. Downloaded and installed OrBit again. It is working fine and fast .The only thing is, a MacBook doesn't have an Ethernet connection, at least mine doesn't have. So I had to buy a transition cable from Thunderbolt to Ethernet. So can be done. Might be useful for others to know.    Greetings Piet / Holland.doesn't work with OrBit, not Windows but MacOS.  Hi there

My old laptop gave up the ghost a few weeks ago. Now I could take over a nice used MacBook, but that doesn't work with OrBit, no Windows but MacOS installed. So today I created a second partition on the MacBook and installed Windows10 on it. Downloaded and installed OrBit again without any problem. It works fine and fast now. The only thing is that a MacBook doesn't have an ethernet connection, at least mine doesn't have. So I had to buy a Thunderbolt to Ethernet transition cable. So it can be done. Might be useful for others to know.

  Parking sensors
Posted by: c40Owner - 03-09-2023, 08:25 PM - Forum: Retrofitting - Replies (55)

Hi there!

C40 owner here and unfortunately my car only came with rear parking sensors.

I've been trying to gather information on what I would need to perform a retrofit to enable the front sensors!

I noticed I have blanks on the front bumper and will need a total of 6 sensors. I will need to drill the 2 side ones.

Can anyone chime in if they've done this sort of retrofit before?

I assume this should apply to all CMA platform cars (Polestar 2, XC40 Recharge, XC40)

Mainly:

  • would I need another PDC module?
  • does any one know if the harness has the connections already?
  • part numbers for sensors and harnesses show a VP06 or VP07 variant... not sure how I can determine which one I have?

Thanks in advance!

  R-Design steering Wheel
Posted by: IMAY2023 - 03-08-2023, 10:43 PM - Forum: Retrofitting - Replies (84)

I found a good used R-Design heated steering wheel for sale. I already have the heated one. I just want to have the shifting pedals which only R-Design has.
Has anyone tried to retrofit R-Design steering wheel gear shifting pedals and enable those via Orbit?

Is this thing sufficient? For a 2022.5 V60 Recharge polestar. Or is there a 'better' one?
