  Parking sensors
Posted by: c40Owner - 03-09-2023, 08:25 PM - Forum: Retrofitting - Replies (55)

Hi there!

C40 owner here and unfortunately my car only came with rear parking sensors.

I've been trying to gather information on what I would need to perform a retrofit to enable the front sensors!

I noticed I have blanks on the front bumper and will need a total of 6 sensors. I will need to drill the 2 side ones.

Can anyone chime in if they've done this sort of retrofit before?

I assume this should apply to all CMA platform cars (Polestar 2, XC40 Recharge, XC40)

Mainly:

  • would I need another PDC module?
  • does any one know if the harness has the connections already?
  • part numbers for sensors and harnesses show a VP06 or VP07 variant... not sure how I can determine which one I have?

Thanks in advance!

  R-Design steering Wheel
Posted by: IMAY2023 - 03-08-2023, 10:43 PM - Forum: Retrofitting - Replies (89)

I found a good used R-Design heated steering wheel for sale. I already have the heated one. I just want to have the shifting pedals which only R-Design has.
Has anyone tried to retrofit R-Design steering wheel gear shifting pedals and enable those via Orbit?

Hi there!

Anyone tried to remove Volvo On Call? 077 ASSISTANCE SERVICES -> 01 Without Assistance Services does not help. Annoying message "Volvo On Call Service Required" does not let to live happily... Wink Car XC60 2019 USA, reverted to EU and VOC is unnecessary

Is this thing sufficient? For a 2022.5 V60 Recharge polestar. Or is there a 'better' one?

SPEED LIMIT according to posted sign.
Posted by: IMAY2023 - 03-03-2023, 05:06 AM - Forum: Speed Limit - Replies (17)

There are two settings to get it work.

036  ADJUSTABLE SPEED LIMITER      03 ASL & AVSL

149  ROAD SIGN INFORMATION   > Select the one with with Speed Limit Adaption (SLA) based on your country.

This will give you speed limiter option in cruse control settings on the dash and there will be button on SENSUN. If the button on SENSUS is enabled, the speed limiter will be updated according to road signs. If not enabled driver can set any top limit manually.

There is also setting SPEED WARNING. > do not enable this for US / CAN.  Enabling it breaks the actual over speed driver warning in SENSUS. 0 or +5 miles /hour.
