Troubleshooting failed speaker - B/W
#1
Hi,

I strongly suspect one of my door midrange speakers has failed - however, finding it difficult to 100% confirm that due to the speaker's close proximity to the tweeter (which
works). I would love to avoid disassembling the door panel as that is not really something I am comfortable doing.

Does OrBit have the capability to verify connectivity/functionality of all the speakers in the car? I have been poking around the IHU/AUD ECU funtions, but have not found anything relevant.

Car is an '18 S90, so Sensus with B/W, if that matters.

Appreciate any assistance!

MID and high are in parallel. So,  AUD must send specific audio frequency range that only MID response to  As far as I know, Orbit does not have such option.
But it's very easy to test with your ears! :-)
1) Set the audio settings "Studio all seats"
2) From the Audio Fader / Balance move the dot to front and the desired side.
3) Play a song that has less BASS. more vocals.
4) Continue to play and move the dot to other side.

If your MID is faulty on one side, you will hear the difference.  If both sides are faulty, you would also notice that vocals are missing.
