V90 D5 to V90CC Warning! |

Hello! I've already retrofitted some elements in my V90 and activated them first with Vdash (subwoofer, B&W) and now with Orbit (switch behind doors, video in motion and much more). I wanted to activate the off-road mode and HDC from the V90CC in my V90 D5. But that doesn't work. You can only activate the off-road mode if you change the vehicle from V90 to V90CC. Then you can select the off-road mode. However, this results in errors in the following systems:
Engine control (turtle shown), transmission, brake and all door control units. The problem and danger with this is that the vehicle could no longer be restored to its previous state with orbit, no connection could be established with the vehicle when it was tried. Not even after restarting, etc.
I was able to delete the error code information with Bosch Esi-Tronic and then program the vehicle back to a normal V90 with Orbit without changing the ignition. On the one hand, I wanted to warn before someone try to do it and ask if anyone has found another way to activate the off-road mode? It seems to be only released in the V90CC profile. My V90 has the drive-mode switch. Thank you very much and best regards

Turn off radar calibration? |

So I’m quite sure the radar is working and the Volvo shop ran the radar calibration as part of the service after replacing the windshield - now the radar calibration won’t complete!
Can I use Orbit to turn off the radar calibration?

Hi all,
After years of experience in mostly German vehicles I recently started working on recent Volvo and Polestar vehicles.
When I was working on specific vehicles in the past I was using a generic gateway from a donor vehicle, which allowed me to connect ECU's to (at the correct CAN Bus etc.) to do diagnostics on that ECU on my bench outside its host vehicle.
Would Orbit (and Volvo/Polestar) allow a similar setup? I.e. Can I use a donor VGM to connect to a different ECU like a IHU4?
Or is the pincode mechanism etc completely failing that way?

Polestar Engineered for my 2018 XC90 T6 |

Hi guys, I have a big doubt that both me and my brother own 2018 XC90 T6 and he subscribed to orbit and made modifications on polestar. When he did the modification I saw the following options: polestar optimisation, polestar engineered edition, polestar engineered car and polestar car. My brother chose "polestar optimisation", I don't know if this is the option that adds the most power to the engine. Also I am going to subscribe to Orbit and modify it as well, however I have seen people say that for the T6 engine, polestar on Orbit does not add HORSEPOWER, it only changes the shifting of the gearbox. If I want to add hp to the T6 I need to go to a dealer and swipe in the official polestar software. Is this true?

025 Seat Heat Calibration |

Has anyone tried the 10 options yet? My 2019 XC90 has "06 Heat calibration 6" selected as the default. I'm curious snice they don't get hot enough for me. I'd also love to be able to have just the back heated and not the cushion. I saw an option of cushion or cushion and back under another config but nothing about back only. It's still too warm here in Atlanta to really test them and notice any differences.

Front Massage & Rear Ventilated seats |

After activating the fancy High Beams, there's nothing really interesting to do with my 2017 S90 Inscription... so I thought why not activate the Massage on the Front Ventilated seats?
I was hoping Massage is just a simple upgrade for OrBit ... but it's not. The massage appeared in the seat settings, but it's doing nothing. Does Volvo really have some separate motors for the massage?
And it's the same for rear ventilation, the rear seats are perforated, option appeared in the menu, but no air coming towards the rear passengers bottoms.
Did anyone try retrofitting or activating these 2? Am I doing anything wrong or I'm just asking for too much.
