Got Orbit a little while back. Turned on pixel headlights, a few other tweaks, worked great, zero connection/config issues, didn't change any firewall settings/etc. on the laptop. Had to take it into Polestar for non-functioning seat heaters. Before going in, connected, returned to stock. Got car back from Polestar after a friggin' month. Hooked up the laptop to restore my changes in Orbit. It won't connect no matter what I do. Same laptop, same Orbit install, same cable, same adapter, same same same.
2022 Polestar 2, software P3.1.9.
Windows 11 home
USB ethernet adapter
Amazon ODB2 connector
Tried:
Changing order of plugging in USB adapter, OBD2 connector, and starting Orbit
Door open and shut
Car plugged in and not plugged in
Car in drive and car in park
Windows Firewall on and off (for Domain, Private, and Public networks)
adding custom rule to outbound connections for the OrbitApp.exe
Orbit output:

I have a high performance amplifier. I have already added a subwoofer and coded it. Everything works fine and I am also interested in a central speaker.
I bought the set on AliExpress and connected it to pin 10 and 2 in the green plug in the amplifier.
Unfortunately the speaker does not work. Do I need to code something?
Hello, is it possible to do:
- conversion from US to EU
- delete failure data from srs controller?
If so, what package do I need to buy to do this on my car?
Do I need to purchase an Icarsoft Volvo 3.0 diagnostic tool if purchasing the Orbit software? In other words, do they work together, are they competitors or do they both provide the same functionality? I'm still a little confused about it.
(P)32265284AA hi. my volvo xc40 bought in italy only has 2 speakers in the front doors. I want to expand it. I have an active orbit and after changing the configuration to a higher volume, there is no signal. only for those two speakers. the amplifier number is attached. it's sad so little gear. can you advise me?
I have the key that allows remote start if it is enabled by the dealer. So I know the capability is in the car. Is there a way I can do this without paying the dealer? Thanks.
After quite some considerations, i want to replace my XC90 ’21 Momentum seats to at least heated/massage front seats. Electric/ventilated is a nice to have. Currently on the hunt for some good quality seats from same modal/year.
I understand I need to ‘revert’ the changes when it goes to visit a dealer, but what steps, practically needs to be done apart from going to OEM with orbit? I need to put back my complete seat because of the ECU? Or can i just disconnect some wires? Anyone has experience with this?
I am having trouble connecting to a 2022 Volvo XC90 -
Here is the log from OrBit -

From what I have read in the other car connection issues, it seems like a firewall issue, so I entered the 2 additional rules that weren't automatically added , along with an explicit outbound rule for ..\OrBitApp\OrBitRun.exe - but I still see the same error.
I also tried disabling Windows Defender temporarily and relaunching OrBit, but I still see the same error message.
More background - my laptop has an ethernet port, so I don't have any potential driver issues with a USB Ethernet dongle. I also installed wireshark with the OBD - Ethernet cable plugged in, and can see data from the car (the VIN number), so the cable seems fine also.
is it possible to have hill descent control on 2019 V60 with AWD?
I see configuration option 053 which seems related, but doubt that is all there is to it.
I have also seen "Off road" driving mode option for the Cross Country. Is this somehow related?
