TPMS IDs are rejected for writing by OrBit
Posted by: BorD - 01-29-2025, 09:26 PM - Forum: OrBit Q&A - Ask your questions here! - Replies (1)

Hi,
I'm working on 2019 V90CC to get actual pressures displayed on Sensus TPMS screen.
IDs of schrader sensors as collected by Autel are converted to HEX, yet OrBit rejects them and do not writes to the car.
How IDs need to be formated to be send to the car? Thank you

  345 BYPASS VALVE VAC option
Posted by: kostik_xc70 - 01-28-2025, 07:58 AM - Forum: Engine / Transmission - Replies (7)

Good day to everyone.
Can you tell me who changed the 345 BYPASS VALVE VAC option to 01 Without a bypass valve (in this case, both the engine and the interior heat up). Was there an error in the cooling system after starting the Webasto heater for a short time and for a long time?
Also, who just dropped the power connector from the three-way valve, did they get an error on the cooling system after starting the heater for a short time and for a long time?
It is suspected that when the connector is reset or the configuration is changed, the software inside the climate control unit still works according to the algorithm in the presence of a three-way valve.

Retrofit heated steering wheel problem. Help!
Posted by: Mozzelman - 01-27-2025, 10:23 PM - Forum: Retrofitting - Replies (23)

Hi there,

Last weekend I tried to do the heated steering wheel upgrade to my car (MY20 V60 T8), but it didn't go as expected.

Heated steering wheel has partnumber 32288783.
SWM has partnumber 32266030.

After programming the steering wheel with Orbit, the steering wheel is warming up (so that's working), but I got a traction control warning light in my dashboard and 2 fault codes:

BCM2-U012682
Lost Communication With Steering Angle Sensor SAS- Bus Signal / Message Failures- Alive / sequence counter incorrect / not updated

CEM-U212E186
Invalid Data Received From PSCM Signalgroup A- Bus Signal / Message Failures- Signal invalid

Does anyone know what might be the problem?

Do I have to install some extra software, apart from activating the heated steering wheel in Orbit?

Hopefully you can help me, guys!

Check DPF load for diesel D5 engines
Posted by: cristiavram_a - 01-27-2025, 10:56 AM - Forum: Engine / Transmission - No Replies

I’d like to know if it’s possible to check the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) load percentage directly in OrBit. I’ve been looking for the option to monitor the soot and ash levels, as well as the differential pressure across the DPF, but I couldn’t find it in the ECM tools or live data sections.
Could someone point me in the right direction (e.g., specific menus or steps)?

Much appreciated!

  Climate Parking Option
Posted by: Rrafidi - 01-24-2025, 06:54 PM - Forum: OrBit Q&A - Ask your questions here! - Replies (1)

I'm looking to see if the Climate Parking or whatever it's called can be added.
I'm referring to the option to set a specific time that the climate controls will turn on. A Loaner I drove had this option. I set it to 8AM every day and when I got in my car at 8:15AM, the car was nice and cozy.

I search but came up with nothing. Any here know if that's an option to in OrBit?

  Polestar market change
Posted by: Stume57 - 01-23-2025, 06:33 AM - Forum: OrBit Q&A - Ask your questions here! - No Replies

Polestar 2 -22

Can the car market region details be modified with Orbit or does this have to be done with Vida if something needs also to be updated on Volvo/Polestar servers?

Imported car from another EU country, based on service advisor the market region change would for example make the on call button to call the correct country (local, not previous) etc. Dealer wants 2 hours labor charge.

To my understanding they will make some changes in the car config but was thinking if this could also be done with Orbit?

Thanks!

Active Radiator Shutters - anyone done it?
Posted by: tardeaux - 01-21-2025, 09:19 PM - Forum: Retrofitting - No Replies

I'm going to be tearing my front end apart soon here to replace a failed headlight sprayer.  While I'm in there, and while I'm noticing how much my car is suffering in -18C temps, I'm wondering how feasible adding the active radiator shutters would be.  This is an uncommon (unheard of?) feature on US XC60s, but seems to be common elsewhere.

I've found what I believe to be the upper shutter assembly with P/N 32345497 - but I can't tell what this actually includes or good confirmation that hybrid/non-hybrid use the same parts.  None of the listings I've found have a good picture to see if the motor is attached to this assembly, or if it might be a separate item.  It doesn't look like the XC60 has a lower shutter set, though I could be wrong.  Then there's question of mounting hardware....

Unfortunately, the diagrams on the parts sites don't include legends of the other items in the same diagram, and don't seem to include the electronics/wiring.

Does anyone happen to have these diagrams from their time with Vida, or better yet - experience doing the install?
Specifically, this will be a 2022(early) XC60 T8.

Which options should be enabled to:
- change front MID lights from US to EU
- activate driving assistant?
I have the momentum version with regular cruise control.
