Hello, is it possible to add a used trailer module 32386674 to a car? VIDA was already in another car or does VIDA only add clean new modules?

Question RSI Settings question
Posted by: NikitaPodhornyi - 11-03-2025, 03:19 PM - Forum: Retrofitting - Replies (1)

Hi all,

I have 2020 V90 T8, and from factory it didnt have Sensus navigation enabled.
It was a simple parameter change in Orbit, and maps update, and now it works perfectly.

Changed parameter 223 from setting 01 to 04.

But i noticed that RSI (Speed limits) are not updated based on Navigation, but only read from real signs.
So a question, is there another parameter that determines where it takes the speed limit from, something like (real signs + navigation data)

Country of first reg is Sweden, current country of usage is Finland (maybe this plays a role as well)

I have driven another V90 county of origin was Belgium, and it had Sensus navigation enabled by default, and in there speed limit was fused correctly at all times.

  Flash Roof module?
Posted by: Pliind - 11-03-2025, 02:42 PM - Forum: OrBit Q&A - Ask your questions here! - Replies (2)

Hi!

So i changed my headliner from white to black years ago... through my old roof module away like a frisbee and never looked back.

When doing my service last year and trying to get a total upgrade done it choked on my new module, i bought a 31479612 but it came from an XC90. It's fully functional but VIDA will not let it pass.

Can this be flashed to a v60 version? i really want to pass my total upgrade this time around in february as Sweden is closing down all 3G networks and Volvo is issueing a patch for all cars.

So what i have and want spec wise is v60 - high illumination - no hatch

  Passenger seat module malfunction.
Posted by: Pliind - 11-02-2025, 05:10 PM - Forum: Retrofitting - Replies (1)

Hi!

I installed a original foldable hitch yesterday and today i noticed that my passenger seat would not move.
It clicks when i try to operate it but no movement. (Seat is retrofitted and fully electric)

Is this i freak coincidence or can this be flash related? For the foldable hitch install i was only operating in the back, never touching anything in the front or the seat.

I have ordered a connector to be able to manually move the chair and measure/clean/control but right now in just boggled by how this just happens out of nowherr.

Also date is really weird? i have another fault above that is for my subwoofer missing but that has yesterdays date..

  Issues with Navigation after enabling
Posted by: Zavaged - 11-02-2025, 09:05 AM - Forum: Misc - Replies (4)

Hi!

Car: Volvo V90, 2017, D3

Seen a couple of threads about issues with navigation after enabling it, with the #223 configuration NAVIGATION AND INTERNET MAP: WITH CONNECTED NAVIGATION, WITH INTERNET MAP, it became available but tells me I am missing the maps, which need to be provided through USB. None of the other threads helped me.

However, no matter what I do, it only says ‘No Media’ on the USB-stick.
I downloaded Scandinavian maps for Sensus.

I’ve tried using exfat, fat32, ntfs on the USB-sticks but nothing works.
I’ve made sure to use the Sensus SPA maps download tool from Volvo.

When I use the tool I save the download directly to the USB choice.
On the USB-device itself there is a DB-file and a .zip file.
I’ve tried having it exactly like the tool has it with zip-file, I’ve unpacked the zip-file and placed all files
directly on the usb-stick but it still doesn’t work.
I’ve tested sticks with USB 2.0 and 3.1.
I’ve tried using usb sticks with MBR and GPT.
I’ve tested both USB-slots in my car, both the one with white circle and without.

But no matter what I do, it says no media when I connect it.

Can somebody which this works normally for, please check what USB-type you have, whether in your stick, it has unpacked files? Or is it expected to have a .zip file? If not, can someone please list the exact contents of the USB-stick? This is making me nuts  Big Grin

Retrofitting HK to base Polestar 2
Posted by: Marky mark - 11-01-2025, 01:42 PM - Forum: Retrofitting - Replies (2)

In the process of repairing a Polestar 2, which had a small electrical fire to the right quarter in the boot area I found myself upgrading to HK setup.  I purchase a loom which came from a higher spec car which had the Harman Kardon, setup. I've fitted the additional rear speakers, sub and the amp then modified the wiring to suit and changed to the high performance configuration in Orbit but I find myself with no audio at all. The radio seems to work fine and its not reporting any issues in the diagnostic. I've confirmed I have power to the amp and I can see one of the most fibre optics illuminated.
I'm I missing some thing with the reconfiguration or am i likely looking at a potential radio issue?

  Maintenance Reset Error
Posted by: Crazychicken563 - 10-30-2025, 08:06 PM - Forum: Service Functions - Replies (2)

I'm just trying to do a very basic task. Under the Service Tab in the General section I click Maintenance Reset in order to clear out the car notification.

I get the following logs in orbit:

Code:
Starting Maintenance reset
ECU command FAILED!
Error Reason: Error in response from DIM

Not sure what to do from here, any suggestions?

  Compatibility Orbit + Volvo XC60 2021
Posted by: Manun90 - 10-28-2025, 09:07 AM - Forum: OrBit Q&A - Ask your questions here! - Replies (1)

Hi, thanks for accepting me as a member in this forum Heart , I'm new to this world and proud owner of a Volvo XC60 2021.

I just bought it 2 weeks ago and as the car dealer promised me to have the ACC already installed, once started to use the car, I sadly saw that this is not true.

So I want to activate it with Orbit sw and want to ask you if it's compatible with my car, before proceeding with the purchase.

I already checked and I don't have the radar behind the Volvo emblem/badge. Is the one on the windshield enough to have the ACC working?

Thanks a lot for your kind support,
Manuel  Smile
