  Cornering fog lights?
Posted by: Orman - 02-25-2024, 04:56 PM - Forum: Lights - Replies (2)

Hi,

Is it possible to enable cornering fog lights? I have fog lights but don’t have this option on my V60 -20. I’m not talking about active corner lights, or bending lights.

I’m talking about when you turn the steering wheel when making a left turn, the left fog light will light up. Same when taking a right turn, then the right fog lamp will light up. And when selecting reverse, both fog lamps will light up to assist with lighting up the area around you. Is it possible with Orbit?

Im getting error message

Security level 17 for the CAM is required for this DID, but we don't have a pin for this level stored in the car profile!
Use Set PIN button on ECU Tools tab to add this PIN to the profile if you have it.

I Just got a enet cable. Is it possible to read any info from a Polestar 2 with orbit without getting the pin codes? I want to see the current fault codes. Have an intermittend propulsion system error and wanted to check what the issue is before sending it to a garage. I dont need to flash settings or anything.

  License question with multiple VINs
Posted by: darmok - 02-24-2024, 05:22 PM - Forum: OrBit Q&A - Ask your questions here! - Replies (2)

We have a two-Volvo garage (C40 Twin and XC40 B5) and I'd like to know how the OrBit licensing works with that. Do I just buy two separate subscriptions, one per car? There's nothing in the PayPal process that asks for the VIN, so how is each subscription associated with the VIN? Can I use the same installation on one computer with both cars, or does the install become locked to the VIN?

Thanks in advance for anything that can help clear this up!

Does the cheap amazon cable work?
Posted by: Space_ranger - 02-23-2024, 10:01 AM - Forum: Car Connectivity - Replies (7)

I bought this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B076...UTF8&psc=1 cable after reading it just needed to support BMW enet. Has anyone used this one know if it will work with Orbit? There are lots of them listed all look to be the same thing.

Its for a Polestar 2 if that makes a difference..

Hello,

Anyone has experienced usb port glitches?Every time i start a car it is not working at cold weather. It depends how cold is outside. After a few minutes of driving usb stick or apple car play starts to play and all back to normal. I am wondering if this situation exists  only in my 2020 volvo s60.Can someone share own experience about this?

Battery power during Diagnostic and general programming
Posted by: VolvoXC6018 - 02-21-2024, 08:47 PM - Forum: OrBit Q&A - Ask your questions here! - Replies (6)

Hi I’m new here and planing to use OrBit on my Volvo XC60 T8 R Design Pro 2018. This may not be directly relevant, but I noticed even on Orbit tutorial it was mentioned you need to use battery charger when doing car diagnostic. Just wondering if CTEK MXS 5.0 12v 8 Step Smart Battery Charger will be sufficient enough with Output Voltage: 14.4v, 14.7v, 15.8v and
Charging Current: 5A. Would really appreciate your help. Thanks.

  Xc60 p* 2021 wheel config ?
Posted by: xc60P* - 02-21-2024, 03:39 PM - Forum: Chassis - Replies (1)

Do we know what the factory settings are for the xc60 polestar edition as to circumference for the 255/40/21 and the 265/35/22 OE ?

I'm guessing 7B for the 255/40/21 and 80 for the 265/35/22 ? No
