Any idea how to get rid off the message in dash?

Front parking sensor for S60 2024
Posted by: qtm - 09-17-2025, 08:17 PM - Forum: Retrofitting - Replies (11)

Hello everyone,

I am aware that this topic has already been discussed, but I would like to clarify a few details.

  1. From what I have found, in the 2024 models the sensors are connected to the ASDM. Where exactly is this unit located, and is a specific version required to retrofit front PDC?
  2. Can any front bumper harness be used, or is a dedicated one necessary? The same question applies to the sensors (4x PDC). My intention is to use only the PDC harness and integrate it with my existing system.

Thanks for all the help.

  XC40 rear passenger courtesy lights
Posted by: bbarnev - 09-15-2025, 10:17 AM - Forum: Retrofitting - Replies (1)

So I have a 2020 XC40 T5 Momentum with a sunroof. Unfortunately the car has no rear passenger lights (absurd, I know), and it makes it very hard to strap kids seatbelts in the dark, etc. I started searching for the lights and finally sourced them, cut the headliner holes to install them and...found no wiring for the lights underneath Sad
Just wondering if anyone has had experience retrofitting these and had to fight the same battle. A few observations/guesses I have this far:

1. Looking at headliner options on eBay I see the headliner wiring loom is one big piece and connects to a lot more things than just the lights, so I'd rather not dismantle/replace the entire headliner or its wiring.

2. If anyone has an idea how these work please share. I assume some CANBUS signal is involved, the light fixtures seem to have ambient light LED as well. The lights connector has 3 pins, so it's either digital signal or just separate wires for ambient and normal lights, yet it makes no sense as the light has to go on when the door is one OR be powered on manually by pressing the button.

3. I started to wonder whether I could tap into the front light fixture and get power and signal from there. When I opened the front light fixture (the one that also has the On-Call and SOS buttons on it) I found two things (attaching a picture below for reference):
a. A free green connector with 3 wires which was taped to the rest of the wiring. When measured with a multimeter it seemed to have some constant 12v between 2 of the wires, and then some varying signal on the third. As it fit perfectly into the light fixture I could not resist trying it out. Unfortunately it did not work - no light when opening the door or pressing the button. Wondering what this connector might be for? I then thought it's possibly a software feature, so I changed the interior lightning item in the car config form mid to high level illumination (no RGB), but still the same results.
b. The connector that goes into this front light fixture is badass - big white connector with lots of wires going into it, which I've no idea about. I could potentially trace which ones go to the actual light module, but it seems to have some internal wiring (all black wires), and might not be so straightforward, especially if my CANBUS signal theory is right.

TIA everyone!

  360 & BLIS
Posted by: juzzmee - 09-13-2025, 09:32 AM - Forum: Safety - Replies (1)

Hi,
To those whom has retrofitted 360 camera and BLIS on 2019 XC40 T4, can I check what’s the control module or part number for it (silver box in the picture)?
Seller sent me the complete set with control module but apparently installer checked and mentioned it’s for XC60.
The control module cannot be connected to the CEM and even the passenger side mirror cannot be adjusted to angle to see the rear passenger door handle (adjusted max to the right). Seller said it’s because the software for 360 & BLIS is not yet activated thus the mirror angles are off - does it make sense?
Hope the pictures attached are working and i appreciate any advise on my above questions.
Nothing is going smoothly for my upgrades - argh.

AWD Haldex adaptation, and bleed procedure with Orbit
Posted by: Bongas - 09-11-2025, 06:20 AM - Forum: OrBit Q&A - Ask your questions here! - No Replies

Hello,
Im new to the forum, and Orbit community. I was checking some threads, but did not found anything regarding possibility to trigger haldex adaptation procedure using Orbit. Having issue with AWD haldex coupling,(binding rear wheels on slow speed cornering while accelerating) also will need to replace haldex pump and oil, and therefore would need to trigger adaptation procedure. Can this be done with Orbit simmilarly as with Vida ? Vida online is not available in my country unfortunately Sad . And maybe someone know if i would need full license + PIN decode, or this could be achieved with service options ? Thank you for any kind of useful information ! Smile
If anyone with Orbit and AWD car could check if you can trigger adaptation procedure on DEM module, and inform, i would highly appreaciate it !! Smile

I'm a tech at a euro car shop, wondering about adding this system to my arsenal of scan tools.

Will it function as a diag tool only for SPA cars? We buy ViDA 3 day subs when we need to program/configure. Just looking for another platform to use for routine diagnosis, read and clear codes and read values. Don't need full function access to any car. Understand if my use is outside of the target market.

  Suspension failure
Posted by: mihai3n3 - 09-09-2025, 01:10 PM - Forum: OrBit Q&A - Ask your questions here! - Replies (2)

Hey,

I'm so freaked out. Today, it was just initiated in the orbit world. I wanted to activate `Drive mode : with a glass button switch ,pure mode memory`, but I had the driver's door open, and I think the procedure was not completed after that. The suspension system is now in service mode. I've tried restoring to OEM and recalibrating suspension, but I always get the error `Level Set still running or error setting the level`, and the suspension does nothing.

Any one have any idea how to make it work ? Because now i have a big red warning on the suspension and i need to go pick up the kids from school Sad

Hey everyone, I'm a bit new to here so I don't know how things work. I bought OrBit subscription with CEM Pin crack service. I've sent mail to the support but no one replied yet.

Also how do I register my mail so I can use the orbit software?

installation bumper R-DESIGN problem with parking sensors
Posted by: set - 09-07-2025, 09:07 AM - Forum: Retrofitting - Replies (9)

Hello everyone!

I installed new bumpers on my Volvo XC90 2019y (inscription)  fron R-Design car 2020y
But the parking sensors don't work.

I tried to replace the PAM. My number PAM 32243137, new 32281512
but, it didn't work

I was told that I need to replace the parking sensors because they were not the same in 2019 and 2020

Maybe someone knows how to fix this without replacing the parking sensors ?

Polestar 2 interior roof light distraction
Posted by: Johnny_cass - 09-06-2025, 12:00 PM - Forum: OrBit Q&A - Ask your questions here! - No Replies

Is there any settings in orbit to disable the mood lighting in the rooflights especially the little rings around buttons 2+4. I know you can dim by using the roller at the side of steering wheel but it's not enough. [Image: 103a72982ed3e3bbcbfcffbb4a17ea43.jpg]
