I have a 2024 XC40 B3 that came with the same 360 camera but without BLIS.

I want to add BLIS but am not sure what I will need to change?

I know that I will need the mirror glass with the lights in but do I need anything else?

Is the wires the for the lights already?

Do I need to get anything else or just activate it with orbit?

Hello. There's a problem with the XC90 camera. In the middle of driving, the traffic sign recognition and cruise control suddenly stopped working. I finished my drive, and today I managed to read the error codes. Is the camera now broken, or has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

ASDM-C100152 - Vision System Camera. System Programming Failures. Not activated - Permanent fault
ASDM-U101500 - Lost Communication With Infortainment Head Unit (IHU) - Intermittent

This kind of fault has occurred for the first time — is it possible for the camera to lose its calibration in the middle of a drive?

Hey everyone,


I have a 2017 XC90 that suddenly stopped turning on—no crank or anything. When I scan the car, the ABS module (VDDM), ECM, and TCM are all missing from the network. After some digging, I found out that the VDDM acts as a CAN master, and the signal goes to that module first before reaching the ECM and TCM.

My question is: does anyone know if it’s possible to replace this module (VDDM/ABS module) with a used unit and perform a VIDA reload on it? A new one costs around $700, while a low-mileage used one is about $160.

- illuminated sills from 90 series
- steering wheel padlle shifters
- headup display (with cutting dash)
- rear  camera washer (custom made with 10 euro )
- sport body kit from volvo accesories
-s90 armrest + knee rest for center console
- rse by key (only activation)
 - polestar software (at the dealer)
- aluminiu engine shield (from accesories)
And i think there are more, but i can't remember.

I replaced the fuel tank on my xs90 phev with a 71L tank (50L from the factory). On line 011 I made the change. Now when I start the car, the estimated mileage to empty tank disappears and the fuel gauge starts flashing. Is there anything else I need to change?

I have recently performed several activations on my Volvo vehicle using Orbit, and I would like to clarify one aspect regarding compatibility with the original VIDA system.

I own and use my personal VIDA setup for diagnostics and monitoring purposes. I am also considering purchasing an official online VIDA account and want to ensure that everything will work reliably together.

My main question is: are there any potential risks or conflicts if I connect to VIDA after performing multiple activations via Orbit? Specifically:
• Could VIDA revert or interfere with the changes made via Orbit?
• Could these modifications be flagged or logged in a way that affects diagnostics or software updates?

My intention is to use VIDA for software updates, reading live data, and performing diagnostics, while keeping the customizations made through Orbit intact.

Your guidance on this would be greatly appreciated to ensure a smooth and error-free workflow.

Polestar 2 as of version 3.6.4 ignores config changes
I just did the upgrade in hope to get usable bluetooth, physical buttons and steering assit...
Now I can chnge config to my heart's content, it has 0 effect on avialiable functions. 
bye bye adaptuve cruise control...
i guess they didn't put it in 5k "upgrade" pack to let some clever shmut get it for $343-ish Orbit did cost me with pin unlocks and cable....

not only car runs on jokeware that makes windows Vista look like nuclear facility grade stability wise....now i can't even turn my prefered options on and off.
f*$@ck them , my first and last car from volvo/polestar, should've gone with KIA again !!! better build, better progrmmed and cheaper too!

I tried to activate Video in Motion (VIM) on my Volvo XC60 2021 with Sensus, and I set the option to "no speed" (so video could play even while driving).

Right after applying the coding, the car went into turtle mode (reduced performance) — I can't drive faster than 10 km/h. Also, several DTCs appeared, including ones related to:

• Battery/voltage problems
  
• Braking system (CMbB)
  
• Master cylinder piston position
  
• H-bridge / electrical circuit intermittent

I’m considering a front camera retrofit on my Volvo XC 60 2021 and I’m willing to buy all the necessary parts (OEM camera, harnesses, etc.).
Before I proceed, I’d like to know:

Is it possible to activate and configure the front camera functionality using Orbit?

If anyone has experience with this retrofit or knows what’s required from the software side, I’d really appreciate your input.
