Connectivity issues

New to Orbit. Try to connect to 2019 XC60 receiving following messages
Connecting…
Waiting for the gateway to respond…
Unable to connect. VOE connection is present but the car will not accept the connection

What haven’t I done right.

What kind of cable are you using? I had those error when OBD part was not seated properly

on my 2022 i have to hold the start knob turned couple of seconds to get "real" ignition mode...

Orbit should be able to connect also when engine is running but config change requires ignition on and engine off state.

Are you using that usb network dongle? Try it on a real network will it function normally? Cause of this reason i use a valid lenovo bigbook with a real ethernet adapter. Check this usb thing out if in use.

Checked all connections, rechecked and came back with:
VOE connection is present but the car will not accept the connection.

Have ordered a replacement cable to eliminate the cable and adapter as a problem but still no connection.
