Read almost everything here, but still not 100% sure...

In my MY19 V90 i changed and configured via Orbit:

- Seats (ventilated, heated and massage)
- alarm with movement sensor
- steering wheel with heating and paddels and new SWM
- full B&W
- lock buttons for rear doors
- memory seat for passanger side

I want to go to the dealer for a last softwareupdate (Sensus 12/25).

My plan would be:
- Revert orbit to original config
- change SWM and steering wheel to original
- change AUD from B&W to original H&K
- remove memory seat buttons (unplug) on passanger side
- unplug alarm siren and movement sensor

I still have my original seats but can i just unplug them for the software update? The car will definetly have an airbag error if the seat is disconnected - that might be a problem?
Do i also have to unplug the lock buttons on the rear door?
Do i have to unplug the memory seat buttons on passanger side or is it enough to unplug the seat and revert settings in orbit?

Thanks in advance and greetings

If your goal is total upgrade, you will need to
1) replace all added or replaced ECUs and modules (SWM, SEAT CONTROLLERs, AUD and IMS).
2) Revert to the OEM via Orbit.

You do not need to remove or disconnect memory boutons.
You do not replace the steering wheel itself. Just the SWM.

For the Seat controllers,
Unbold the seats and tilt them back. You will be able to reach the connectors of the controllers. Take out your original controllers and connect them to the seat. Then Bold on the seat. After the upgrade reverse it.

For the AUD.
Check the B&W part number and check if it is listed under your VIN. In some cases, VIDA allows reload of upgrades. You might be able make the B&W AUD official.
If you don't want, Just disconnect all the connectors from B&W AUD, place the original HK on the top of it and connect the cables.

I would say this though.
Try to reload software for the new SWM via VIDA. Yes, it might cost up to $200 but it would save you a lot of headache with replacements all the time.

Thank you!
Gotta check for the SWM. I allready asked my dealer but they were not sure. For the XC90 there was actually a Software Update 31428189 for retrofitting the heated steering wheel.

Good idea with the seats! Cause replacing them is not that easy. The space through the door is tight, that's why I did it through the trunk when I changed seats. But I had no rear seats installed at that time which made it alot easier.
