#71
I have pixel light in my 24 xc40. For 109 active high beam should I select 04 adaptive low beam in small village or 06 pixel light?

Hello!

109 Active High Beam offers AHB2 US/Canada and RoW sensitivity. What are the differences between these?

Curious, has anyone enabled active high beam on 2023+ Volvo XC90 to enable bending high beams? If so, would love to see video of performance and preferred settings. I know it's not matrix lighting like Audi, but would love to have this capability, especially in the rural area of western PA with all the deer around. I'm on the fence on purchasing OrBit and wonder if an Anker USB-C to Ethernet adapter would work with this dongle I come from VCDS/VAG-COM and OBDELEVEN with my prior VWs and my wife's Audi to enable beneficial functions and looking to potentially do the same and the first mod would be this function. Also appreciate any tips the community has to offer. Thank you!

On my 2025, the text for the AHB has changed. Are these definitions coming from the car, or was there an update to OrBit that caused this text change? I find it interesting that Adaptive US/Canada sensitivity is an option now.

That's a OrBit change. With much of these we're working off of developed knowledge. The above makes it clearer than 'village' would do. Basically what this does is change the sensitivity of when it will dip to low beam in a lit area.

Which is the less sensitive setting?

Meaning which setting will keep my high beams active for more of the time?

I can’t remember which mine are on but I find that all it takes to turn off my high beams is a dull lamppost!
