Has anyone try to change turbo configuration

What about a t6 recharge ER (b5 ICE) and making it a t8 recharge ER (b6 or t6 ICE). I've always wandered if the t6 recharge could get the same output as the t8 recharge as the only difference between the two is the tune of the engine it seems like, both engines are only turbocharged and dont have a supercharger so therefore, it is either only a different tune for more high end hp at the cost of low end torque or it could be a different turbo but has anyone here tried it?

It doesn't do anything, if you want more power than only way is a mapping, even the polestar orbit is just for the gearbox the hp remain the same

I'll post here, because it's something fun I found recently.

Turbo configuration in this case relates how the car plays brum brrrr noises through your stereo - it doesn't relate to engine mapping at all.

It's untested and only Volvo truly knows the answer. I have just shared what I have seen in documentation, that this relates to the active sound inside the vehicle.
