How does OrBit config affect OTA updates? Will my car get blocked?

What do you mean by "failures"?

Encountered failures with Stop Assist, Collision Assist, and two other, I don't remember. Just like others said.

I guess I don't know how to restore the backup. Where is it located for future reference?
I just re-entered the same settings I had activated for the car, and all the issues disappeared. However, I haven't checked it on the highway yet.

Hi!

I have maintenance planned in March for my XC60 2019 (Sensus system). I have added Adaptive cruise and Pilot assist with Orbit.

Do I need to restore to OEM before maintenance or is this not necessary? Also for future knowledge when I maybe don't have Orbit anymore.

Thanks Smile

Absolutely! Always restore to OEM before a dealer visit.

Ok thanks. But what could happen when you don't do this? Software will be overwritten and then you need to modify the options again?

Or is it possible that they will find out and then? You can always say that you bought the car like this.

From what I've read, the "worst" thing that could happen is they block your car from updates, until it's reverted to stock and you've appealed to Volvo and get them to unban it.

Yesterday I was at the Volvo dealer to replace the crankcase ventilation.

After it was done the error was cleared with VIDA. I was there because I was invited to have a look. So there is no problem to connect to VIDA.
