there is an option to make the Volvo or Polestar app work on the phone in cars imported from the USA to the EU.  if anyone is interested - write to PM

Hello everyone. I am also new to this forum and found this tread while searching on the part number of the software that should (according to a Volvo dealer) turn of the VOC message. 

I am from Sweden and have a 2017 XC90 T6 that are originally sold in Canada / same as US market, and would like to get rid of the message "VOC Service required" every time I start the car.

Is there anyone here that have managed to do that?

I also read that this software dont do any difference, is that so?
Is this wasted money then?

Look forward to hear is someone have a solution.
