My car is XC90 T8 2022late, The original car have no drive mode knob, and i change the hardware including DRIVE MODE KNOB (pic 1), and use orbit changing item 057, from "03 with glass bottom switch in CSD "to "02 with drive mode switch ", and item 452, from "01 no drive mode knob/switch" to "02 with drive mode knob/switch/regulator "(pic2), after loading these two settings ,there is a SUM fault light in the driver screen (pic 3), What is the problem?
The cars with the (DRIVE MODE KNOB) SBSM has LIN wire going to the IHU shared by the CCSM and RCSM ( REAR CONSOLE SWITCH MODULE for rear HVAC controls). So, most likely the SBSM connector you have is missing the wire on PIN A13. Assuming you have 4 zone climate control, you can wire the PIN A13. to the RCSM PIN A3 (middle one).
For the settings, (my19 s60 ) with drive mode mode switch from factory! 057 > 02 337 > Mine is 02 "With dummy button" with drive mode from factory. But I don't think it has anything to do with it. There is a dummy button on my S60 CCSM which is for opening the glovebox on 90 series. 452 > 01.

Hey! I've got the same issues. It looks like you've done the retrofit successfully? Are you able to go more indepth with the wiring? Thank you in advance!
I did retrofits but not the drive mode switch. My 2019 is originally equipped with it.
I just looked at the wiring diagrams of both years and compared. According to picture you enclosed, you have an SPA car, so it should support drive mode switch.
