An update on mine. Just short of 2 years. 38000km. Orbit readout 90.7% SOH.

I'm interested when folks see the SoH change?
Mine has been 98.3% since I got my T8 S60 a couple months ago. I took a longer drive this weekend, in hybrid mode which runs the battery down. After the trip, I am now at 103.3%. It seems there are some conditions under which the SoH is re-evaluated, such as running the SoC far down. It's a PHEV though, not an EV, though similar architecture of course.

Usual recommendation on a fully electric EV is to avoid a full discharge, but it would be interesting to see if doing so causes some kind of reset of the SoH. I'll report back here if I experience this. I think I did see SoH go up once, but I don't remember the circumstances. Typically it tends to go down.

Just adding an update to this. Xc40 P8 at 2.5 yrs old and 48000 km driven. Battery SOH from orbit shows 87.5%.

Hey guys
Not sure I got these SoH measurements correctly. I have C40 Recharge Twin. At 3000 Km the SoH reported in OrBit was 98.7%. About 1 month later and around +1000 Km of mileage I see SoH reading of 96.1% Hm, the battery pack degradation is this fast? And worth to mention that I charge on DC in 20-80% range only. Have you also noticed that the range reduction corresponds to new SoH readings? |
