Might be the first to experience this and wanted to add a data point of sorts.
Coded yesterday and did a bunch of stuff but still dialing things in. Was a little concerned doing this the day before the dealer would have the car but reverted it back to OEM and drove right to the dealer. They did the polestar tune on my car and an oil change, not a single issue. Going to revert back to my coded settings later this afternoon.
I thought this might help knowing that I was successfully able to code/revert and the dealer was unaware of my shenanigans. This was my primary concern with coding this car as my warranty being unaffected is very important to me.

Thanks for the share! I knew some time ago this was going to be an issue (since June '22 when Volvo "cracked down") so I put the work into thinking about how to make this as easy as possible, knowing that it was going to be needed to quickly "revert" the car so you would be sure not to have any problems at the dealer.

To add to my thoughts, and I have to get some more miles on the car, but the transmission logic seems to be the biggest benefit. I remember reading that you can change that with Orbit so in hindsight I may recommend to just do that and skip the full tune.

Edit Reason: I can't be trusted with a laptop
)
OK--spoke too soon. Think my car is fucked up and I am not sure how to proceed.
I re-coded the car this afternoon before my drive home.
Went to put it into polestar mode and it just says dynamic (it did say it on the dash in the tach). Couldn't get the car to connect to my computer to investigate so I just drove home. During the drive cruise control did not function.
Reverted to OEM. Gave me a list of DTC's. Now polestar is missing from the dash too. Pilot assist and adaptive cruise are still there also even though it should be back to OEM. Hard to verify other changes havent reverted back.
Nearly threw my laptop across the driveway I'm so frustrated.
I suppose in hindsight I should have updated the car's profile after the polestar tune.
At this point I just want polestar back and I can't exactly go to the dealer and complain plus I was excited to get it and only had 10 minutes of driving with it. Completely beside myself right now--any help?
Treating this like a diary now to help further any knowledge about coding these cars.
Calmed down and went back to the car and started it.......
Everything looks OEM and polestar is back.
No idea what has happened.
Maybe more experienced people can enlighten me to what I screwed up here.
Still got the following codes:

Further edit:
Shut off car. Went for a drive, and no codes! Still confused as to what happened and gun shy about going back in and coding.

Catching up with this now...since we traded some messaged via support
Some notes probably helpful:
OrBit does it's best to make the car "clean" after coding, that's the post-programming you see, it restarts the IHU (infotainment) so any settings take and the clear codes. VIDA always does this on programming too. It's not perfect though, and when you see DTCs, especially the "U" type, it's usually what I call "throwaway codes" you can clear and they don't come back, there are just "blips on the network" from programming where all the ECUs are restarting and coming up while other ECUs are still booting.
On the missing Polestar...I think we got that mystery, which we discussd already via support but worth putting here for others in the future:
The process of:
Save settings in OrBit
Restore OEM
Get software accessory installed at dealer
Load saved setings in OrBit
Write to car
*Only* in the case of installing new acessory software at the dealer, this process has a flaw...Polestar was installed, in this case VIDA changes build codes and config, then OrBit is used and load saved settings from a file, one of those settings saved is the (374) 01 Without Polestar setting, from before the Polestar install. Loading the saved settings will set that, changing your NEW 02 Polestar Optimization setting, then writing that config has changed that back on you!
The solution is: When you have had an accessory with software dealer installed, if you do then load saved settings in OrBit, review the list of items highlighted to change, before you write to the car, to see if there are any that are going to get set on you that you didn't expect, like in this case, item 374, you would see OrBit is about to change that back to old "01" "pre-Polestar, you can correct that before you write it to the car.
This is a VERY specific case, only with something added by Volvo that changes the build codes. And only if you are loading settings from a saved file. But good to know, and ultimately, easily correctible!
