Just call your nearest dealer or any Volvo dealer, give them VIN number of your car and ask for Rear camera harness cable which connect camera to IHU, at dealers shouldn't be so expensive, in some countries is like 50-60 euros, but depend dealer to dealer, so call few them or find it online by part number and order by yourself, should be 7400 mm = 7.4m,

https://www.volvopartswebstore.com/produ...50607.html

example of few online parts stores,

https://woxparts.com/de/autoteile/volvo/31650607

https://sweden-parts.pl/harness-volvo-31650607

as you can see it's about 70-80e, and at some Volvo dealer 50-60e, not so expensive, it's typical LVDS cable, connector on camera is 4 pins,

Also, I called 1 dealer (not mine cause I don't want him to know about the camera ?) and he said "roughly 200€" for the cable

But I'm not surprised. For Oil change they quoted the oil, which was Eni (the cheapest one possible) 144€ but you can buy that exact oil for 70€ anywhere. So, stealer be stealer

I  can't say 100% what was price at local dealer, as longtime ago asked, but something like 25-30e, some ask 50 , 70e, but 200e is too much, in previous reply provided links where you can order it online for 70-80e, new-unsed part and right part for those models listed with that part number, and don't need depend by any dealer, most of oem parts can order by yourself and online, like enter vin , find right part based on vin and order it...

Yes, some dealer ask too much for their services.

They are in 2 rows of 3.

Edit sorry J was talking of the front and sides camera. Not sure the plug on the rear one!

Standard rear parking camera - RPC, RVC whatever called is with 4 pins, rear backup surround camera is with 6 pins in 2 rows, this one standard rear parking camera is typical 4 pins for LVDS cables.

P.S.
Did anyone of you activate retrofited rear parking camera with Orbit app, in way changing configuration and then appears camera with graphical view , yellow lines, etc ?

Guys, quick question about rear camera. How waterproof is it? It should be somewhat because of all that water in the back but still?

I have an idea to install a universal washer nozzle that would be low profile enough to not be seen by the camera but close enough so it will splash it. Mind you, mine is a V60 so the water connection is already there. Just need to Y split hose connection which I already found on Amazon and AliExpress
Also it might run slower for the back window as well but I dont worry about that

Update: installed the camera today. I went with installing it as per instruction in the end. Only issue was removing the rear bench. That was needed to be removed so you can remove another trim but the cable can go bellow the trim without removing it. Took me 4hrs in the sun ?
Everything works great. Activate for 154 the option 09, Camera Gen 2 always in reverse and then you'll have the camera icon and all its settings

If it's Volvo OEM RVC , then 100% waterproof, used it on previous Volvo car 1.5 year, all seasons, never any problem, about copies, clones can say same, as had no experiene... No problem about water, it's well packed in housing, so no problems, just need time to time when dirty clean it Smile .

Post that link from amazon, aliex for washer, to see what's that exactly Smile ....

Can't understand how uploading photos work on thia forum but I can share a youtube video (ignore the sound, it was made for my brother). It was uploaded in 720 but I filmed it in 1080p (maybe it will upload in fullhd later on)
Backup Camera V60
Camera came from China but it was OEM Volvo (original package and everything) is just things are cheaper there compare to Germany (at least)
Quality wise, very good
I will try to make that DIY camera washer later but right now, if I'm doing anything to the car, my gf will kill me Smile)

BackUp Camera (4pin)(you can negotiate the price Wink )
Auto Parts store AliExpress
For camera washer:
DIY Camera Washer Kit

This one is like a complete kit. There are separate nozzles and hose. 3m is way to much
Also i saw a few flat or low profile ones on AliExpress and Temu but I can't find them anymore
