Android Auto and Caplay activation

Hello, 

I have a 2015 XC90 SPA with single usb and without AA... if I try to activate AA with OrBit then I probably will not be able to listen to the music on my usb stick - because the usb hub will be filled with AA cable to the phone? Or is there any way use it all in a SPA car with single usb - Android Auto and USB stick with files?

Ok, the two usb hub is only available at Volvo dealerships and spare part stores? And (if I understand it) I also have to lay an extra wire to the battery in the trunk? Is this hub+wire sold in a set or I must buy it separately?

You can buy from used part places like eBay also. I swapped mine to the newer USB C one and it works fine without recoding anything.

I have one usb port on the xc40.  i enabled AA and ACP on 224=04.  icons have been added.  but they are gray.  it doesn't light up.  I can't connect, it doesn't work via cable.  should I try something else?

I pair the phone with the car via bluetooth.  then connect the cable from the usb port to the phone.  and no change.  is the procedure correct?

Before everything, after enabling it, do you see "Carplay" and Android Auto" applications in the third page? They should appear but greyed out since no phone is connected yet.  If you do not see the apps, then you have not enabled them correctly try to reboot the CEM and then IHU and DIM. 
After you've verified that ahe apps are there, connect your phone with good cable and the app should be clickable (not greyed out). 
If the app does not turn on meaning still greyed out after you connected your phone, that means the IHU did not detect your phone. You might need to replace your USB port. 

The cars came from factory with Android auto or CatPlay  have two USB ports and only one of them (white borders) works for the phone app.

I understand.  I only have one port.  even without a connected phone, AA and ACP are gray.  even after connecting the phone.
