So what are the results of this mode?

Volvo S60 2023 B4
After the release of version AAOS 3.3.16 of the China version of Volvo, a previously non-existent performance mode could be activated via voice control, and there was a noticeable change in the transmission logic once activated. However, after an unperceived OTA update (which I believe was an OTA for voice control, not a system update), Volvo re-disabled this capability. Therefore, I think the performance mode is just a switch, and the logic for the performance mode had already been added to the vehicle during the system update.

Hi,
I have now tried and activated the performance mode in my 16 D5 FE. Only difference I can feel is the steering is stiffer and nothing else. When the upload was comolete it even gave me shortly a warning for power steering in the dashboard which disappeared after 10sec. The activation of Polestar engineered is a different option and not the 057 I believe and that is a bit different. Originally I had Eco, Comfort, Dynamic, Offroad and Individual under the roll button and after activating the Polestar Engineered now instead of Dynamic it states the Polestar. I must admit between those 2 I dont feel so much difference as they both lower the car and keep the revs higher + the throttle is a bit more responsive. The Power Mode does not seem to do anything else except as I mentioned makes the power steering more heavy. And I can feel it changes to light when I put the individual mode where I have set it to light. So I placed it back to Without Power Mode. |
