To be honest with you so far I have enabled PA/ACC on two cars without any problems. One was Momentum Pro and the other one R-Design. When you go inside the Orbit app navigate to config wizzard>driving aid and select PA/ACC Level 1 then write to car and you are done with that 
Keep in mind upon the first time connection there will be profile update process that will take up to 10 minutes.
In terms of the cables I have used to Volvo OBD2 to RJ45 with P/N 9513108 and a standard Cat 6 Lan cable.
For ASL I think you should have the high spec headlights, but I could be wrong.
