I have done some digging and Im not sure if this is possible.
For the 2018+ cars with HCM, they seem to have an extra CAN bus for the headlights, labled in VIDA as "Body CAN Exposed" PINS EN30 and EN31.
The regular BODY CAN is pins FL19 and FL20. This is the same for the older cars and the 2018+ cars.
The reason I think this may not be possible, is that the replacement CEM up to VIN 344888 is different than the CEM for VIN past 344888. It seems that at a minimum I would need to get the newer CEM, but it doesn't seem like it would be compatible with the earlier VIN. Its possible the only difference is the newer CEM do not have the Headlight pins so that is why it isnt compoatible, but I dont have a way to determine that and I dont want to start spending money guessing.
If anyone has any thoughts on CEM comptibility between years please chime in.
