Headlight LIN bus to HCM Swap - glennda5id - 02-19-2026
Prior to mid 2018, the SPA XC90 used 4 module headlights that were controlled via LIN bus by the CEM. Mid 2018, Volvo moved to the HCM controlled headlights.
I would like to attempt to upgrade to the newer HCM control headlights. Besides CEM config change, there are wiring changes.
The first thing to do is identify the differences in the headlight wiring harness. Does anyone have the wiring diagrams handy from the two different generations of headlights?
Has anyone attempted this?
