Use auto hold button as Start/Stop with memory instead of no button and off possible?

Simple answer is "Nope"
It's a whole LIN slave unit. Each button sends a different message. Besides, auto start / stop button has never been a physical button on VOLVOs. It's always been an option  on the main car functions screen.
