That is strange. Check the part number if it fits your car.
FYI the way VOLVO communicates with the ECUs and modules via CAN BUS is quite different than other manufactures.
Each module has its unique message ID. Not only that; the message ID differs from car to car for each model and year. Meaning two identical model and year VOLVO might have completely different message ID for the same exact module. VOLVO justifies this by saying "Consumer theft Protection" .
I hope connecting the missing PIN in your case solves the issue. If not, you might need to reload the controllers via VIDA. The problem is, you might not be able to if the part number number is no listed as compatible to your VIN in the VOLVO database.
