Heated windshield.

Folks, I’ve been looking into this for a while without much progress—maybe you can help.
My 2019 XC40 has purple-colored front washer nozzles, which caught my attention; I did some research and discovered that a heated windshield option exists. I dug deeper and found that, in the engine bay fuse box, slots 52 and 53 are designated for the heated windshield—but in my case, they’re empty; there are no fuses. I checked the electrical connection for the windshield and confirmed that there is wiring leading toward the cabin, though I lose track of it from there. I searched the forum and found that the wiper connections are wired as follows: Pin 1 ( left wiper )  connectsto pin 75 of the CEM module, and pin 2 connects to pin 1 ( rigth wiper ) .Pin 2 of the rigthwiperconnects to ground. I enabled the feature using ORBIT, but now I’m getting this error message: "Windscreen heater control #2. General electrical failures.Circuit Short to ground or open" (B147214).

Why are the fuse slots empty? And if they connect the CEM to ground, what are those fuses for? I don’t understand…

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I’m editing it to include a photo.!!!

According to the file, it should look like this. Now I just need to verify that those wires (blue/yellow and black/purple) actually reach the CEM module…

Heated windshield is for heated windshield not for heated washer nozzles.

I expect the power you need for a heated windshield is more higher than the whiper heating.
There are heated windshields available for volvo?

Do you heave heated windshield? You can tell by the heating lines (similar to the rear window, just much smaller)
