Can s90 seats be fitted to S60

Physically the controllers are the same but different variants with different options.  Such as, 60 series do not have massage seats and 90 series have that option. Thus, the seat controllers are not exactly the same, the number of pins are different although 90 series seat controller can still be installed on 60 series and fully function. However, VIDA will not allow to flashing a 90 series controller on a 60 series car. 

So, to your question. seat controller from 90 series most likely would fit to xc40 but cannot say the same for the whole seat itself.

Thanks. I have a friend who has an XC40, and we could try to extract the logs from it. I was actually looking for information on whether the logs would work for an S90.

Retrofitted comfort Seats. But sometimes on the driver side only the lower massage works or it shuts down complete. Needed to rewire one power cable (pin15) . Could be a bad contact (low voltage)? Sometimes it does work as it should and I see no air leaking. Feels like the pump can't fill all the parts so the lower ones work and when it's about to add more it's just not enough pressure. No issues for passanger side so can't be the fuse (I ran two different wires to each seat).

Anyone had this before? Hopefully not a faulty massage module. But atleast no leakage...

Repinned it allready in the seat side but connection was good.
Maybe gonna switch to a thicker cable (currently 0.75mm^2).

so if I set the massage to shoulder these ones work too.


Update 2:
So it was a loose contact/issue with valve 2 and 3 from the bottom (so the middle massage bladders). These valves were not opening so the pump could not fill the bladders and the massage program just shut down sometimes. After figuring out where the issue is located I just pressed on those valves a bit and suddenly it worked again.

Fix it with cable ties. Let's see how long it will last ?. But ordered a complete used module with bladders, pump, valves and the ventilation fan for 55€.
