R-Design steering Wheel
#81
Moved the wires to the lower dash connector, cleared the codes and everything is worked as expected!  Had I known yesterday that my S60 Recharge was pre-wired at the EGSM, I could have left the console in place and just pushed the three wires in and saved troubleshooting for an afternoon.  Good lessons learned and this is probably an hour or two job if you are just pressing in the wires and have a good sense of where things go.  Even if mine wasn't pre-wired, this would be the way to do the wiring, so the connectors work as designed and the console could still be removed. A total of six wires would be needed if your EGSM is not pre-wired. [ 3 from SWM to grey connector.  3 from grey connector on the console to the EGSM.  ]

Here are the grey connectors behind the hazard/volume button panel.  We lost a couple connectors trying to pull them back out so we sourced additional connectors and soldered them and used shrink tube to keep it all secure.  I sourced a heated & paddled steering wheel and wiring harness from a 2020 S90 R-Design from erievovo.com

If you need a steering wheel parts:

32288769 -- R-Design with perforated sides, heated with paddles
31343774 - shift paddle
31343775 - shift paddle
3064071 - shift paddle screw x2

If you do not have a heated wheel, you will need to add a new SWM / clock spring with new stalks:
32266026 - steering wheel module with directional stalks , confirm the P/N for you car, this was from my V90 when I added a heated wheel.

Ugh... sorry, I can't help you any further. I'm not familiar with those connectors; I don't recognize them and I don't think they are from the gear shifter or the SWM. I just recommend that you be careful and make sure about what you're connecting.

Greetings!
