Enabling Pilot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control
Is enabling Pilot Assist working on 3.7?

Quote:"Level 1" vs "Level 2" - I don't know what the technical difference is. All I know is Japan market cars get "Level 2" and all other markets get "Level 1". If you figure out the difference, let us all know!

@Power6
Might this Japanese modifications to the ACC on LVL2 might be related to smaller roads, different optimizations for crowded slow traffic in JPN (super crowded -> so earlier connecting to the next car leaving less space maybe??) and less sensitivity to optimize for smaller and curvier japanese roads? At least those suggestions puts co-pilot on the table to me.

So we might expect less smooth ACC experience with LVL2 maybe, but more dynamic/sport, closing gaps more quicker for example?

Does this fit anyones experiences?

This stuff will likely be down to local regulatory variations.

Try it and see - only Volvo knows the facts here.

I assumed this was for left and right hand drive variations. Meaning which side of the lane the car stayed closer to the center line.
