Can s90 seats be fitted to S60

Why not replace the whole seat? It should fit but it's a lot of work and will require special tools to re-attach everything.

S90 r design seat has leather and  alcantara, s60 r design has leather and some kind of textil. Driver seat from s90 has a hole, sow i can't use it. I know how how to change them, because i had changed few heater elements

Ok, I can say for sure that S/V90 front seats fits S/V 60 since I replaced my s60 seats with s90 seats. But cannot say if s60 upholstery fits onto to a s90 frame.

Well on my replacement s90 seats, lumbar support does not work if the engine is not running. It might be also software difference between the modules. 
Assuming that you have check if you are indeed getting power on the PIN 15. If still does not work, try with the other module.

Swapped the seat controllers back to the ones that the seats came with and now everything works!

The part number was 1 number different.

I ordered repair wires from volvo and routed the wires inside the original looms to make it look OEM.

Hey everyone. I tried to switch from semi electric seats to full electric seats in my s90. Sadly it wasnt plug and play. Ive tried reading through the forum 100 times but i cant seem to find anyone that had the same problem.

I looked att the old semi electric seats connector. Where i have the following pins, 16, 22, 23, 32.

The new seats have 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30, 31, 32. So i am missing 4 pins. 

Has anyone done This? Where do i have to get the new pins from? Im guessing that there is some sort of CAN cabels needed. Where do i get This signal from if thats the case.

Any answers are apriciated since i really want This to work. Best regards, Oscar.

Here is the S90 diagram.  You are missing the CAN low, CAN High, power and LIN.

Now that I’ve gotten myself new seats, I put my original ones up for sale and found a buyer.

The buyer has a V90 with half electric, non memory seats but with heating. The seats that I’m selling are full electric with memory (both sides) and with 4way lumbar.

Have I understood correctly that for them to work I would just need to tap into the can hi and can lo wires from the door loom to make the adjustments work? How about the memory? The buyer has alreary bought door cards with memory buttons but I assume there’s no wires there as he still has the original door card loom that came with the car.

And how do I know what wire to splice into in the door loom? I’m terrible at reading wiring diagrams..

The buyer will need to replace the harness on the door trim or buy the connector for the memory switch and this for pinning the other side then wire it.
