Hi, anybody has attempted to do type1 to type2 charging port swap? I know that it can run on Factory OBC(charger module). Maybe some of you attempted to do this and have working 3-phase charging. I see on config position number 029 but maybe modules need to be flashed or sth. I Think same procedure will apply to every EV and PHEV vehicles.

I have a problem with the charging power in my Volvo XC90 T8 2022 USA, imported to the EU. I changed the charging socket from type 1 to type 2. In the OBC diagnostics, it correctly detects the charging cable as 16A, but it only charges with a power of 9.5-9.6A at 230V, giving me a maximum of 2.2-2.3KW. Is there a way to adjust this? Do I need to change something in the configuration or reload the OBC? (between PP and PE is 680 om - show as 20A )

You have to replace the cable from charging socket to battery with eu one. Type 2 for eu is ok. No obc replace or reload is needed. At least for Polestar 2 and xc40 it is working

thanks, the problem is with FEYREE chargers which have a poorly selected resistor between PP and PE, after tuning it everything works correctly on one phase
does anyone have a diagram of how to connect a two-phase charger? to charge with 400V current to type 2 connector without pin L2 and L3?
