Are we good to use with 3.6.4? (P2)
#1
As in the title. I just got the OTA update to 3.6.4 on my P2. Did not restore to factory prior to update. Lost the settings and now wondering if Orbit is compatible with the new software.

Here's what I did. I backed up my OrBit settings about a month back, knowing that we would get an OTA update sometime in summer. When 3.6.4 landed for the P*2, I downloaded the OTA and let it do it's job. Once the update was done, there were a bunch of warnings. I used OrBit to reset the car to OEM, drove a mile or so, and then reverted my OrBit settings from the file I saved.

In your case, since you "might not" have saved settings, I would:
  • Do the update to 3.6.4 (looks you already did that)
  • Reset the car to OEM using OrBit (which will get rid of all the errors)
  • Set the OrBit settings you had before again (adaptive LEDs, CSA etc.)

I can confirm that the version of OrBit I have (1.1.3) is compatible with my 2022 P*2 running 3.6.4

I followed your sequence and no issues in update itself but the Matrix Headlight enable didn't work when set to US/CAN. I changed to EUR/RoW and it's working again. Did Polestar try to lock it out for US?

@Voytech, it's my understanding that the Adaptive headlights were NEVER set up for the US/CAN markets due to issues conforming to the legal requirements here. Even earlier (almost 2 years back when I first set up the Adaptive headlights), I had to set them up as ROW/EU to activate them.

Right, you *want* to set them to EU/ROW mode to get them to work like the European cars.
