Illuminated rear door sills

They're pretty lacking in the details department though..

Front: We cannot use these. You need 2 female and 1 male connector on the cable. This cable is 2 male and 1 female.

Guys, I have installed illuminated front sills long ago, and had "problem" ever since, but never get to ask...
Everything works, BUT, during the night when foot lights and sills are dimmed, if I open doors, sills and foot lights just blinks and turns off permanently until I turn the car off and then on.
Anybody expiereincig that issue?

Yes, it is caused by the fact that the sills draw too much power for the lighting system. I solved it by disconnecting the lights under the seats for the rear passengers.

Thanks for the reply. I also thought so and was wondering why Y connectors exist if that's the case... I will try to rewire the sills to something else, as I don't want to disconnect anything Smile
