Volvo XC90 2016 3G VCM to 4G Version

Hi,

Is it possible or has anyone tried to upgrade in the UK the 3g module to support 4g? 

Since I'm getting a spotty connection I'm guessing I have the tem and vcm, so would the vcm 4g even be possible?

Hi,
I’ve only come across instructions describing how it can be done and which parts would need to be replaced, but I haven’t carried out the upgrade myself yet. I haven’t taken any steps in that direction so far.
If you manage to do it or get any concrete information, please let me know.

Hi , So on XC90 2017 that TEM module isnt there, it has the VCM but without the LTE.

In my case you wont need cable kit or the software to delete the TEM. Only the VCM itself and the software for VIDA to install. VIDA will only install on a virgin VCM module not used.
