S90 T8 HVCH(high voltage coolant heater) to CPM (combustion preheater) swap problem

Hi! 

I recently swapped on my S90 LWB T8 2018my HVCH to CPM. Since my HVCH was bad i looked all the parts and saw that its pretty easy to swap from HVCH to CPM since all coolant hoses was already there. So i ordered all necessary parts for swapping - CPM, Fuel pump and lines + all needed connectors/pins. 
Yesterday i finished all the wiring and changed carconfig as some similar type of car. Now i get Climate control relay error from cem (its wired up properly i think..) and no communication with CPM from CCM. When i manually run climate control relay on engine bay fuse box then i can get some parameters with Orbit(etc CPM part numbers) but still CCM has its no communication with CPM error. I have tried 2 different CPM and i know one is working 100%. I'm really getting frustrated with this. Have looked 1000 times all wiring diagrams in VIDA but still cant figure out where is the problem.
I hope someone here may have some good ideas..

Most likely you are missing the LIN connection from CPM to CCM. 
4/7 COMBUSTION PREHEATER MODULE (CPM) Pigtail YE 0,75   (A3). This is the same LIN BUS as the front right heated seat.

good day! is it possible to add contacts in the rearview mirror so that they have a memory function? I'm installing new fully electric seats on my Volvo to replace the semi-electric ones. I don't want to change the mirrors either. Thank you for your reply!

Hi!

I did not miss this. I used HVCH LIN wire from its old connector.
I figured this communication problem out. I had to disable rear booster fans from config and then CCM was able to communicate with CPM. Strange but that worked. Tried again to enable it and communication was lost again. I made temporary hillbilly solution to power CPM and couple of days everything seems working fine.. 
Now there is only Climate relay problem to solve to get it working as it should. I checked everything again and I'm 100% sure that I have wired everything as it should be.. so I'm now beginning to think that there might me some problem/difference in CEM or just another configuration error. When I manually ground BR12 (climate relay) control wire that comes from CEM then in engine bay fuse box BR12 relay clicks and powers CPM fuse as it should. So somehow CEM just wont drive this signal wire. I have double checked many times also that I have connected this wire also to correct pin.

Hi again!
I finally figured it out! Cool All wiring was good. It turned out since my s90 is made for us market it had different spec cem also what was missing some components. I ordered different cem from eu car, made clone of my original cem, put everything back together and woila! Climate relay works! 
Its sooo stupid that engineers are willing to make so many different parts for just saving couple of cents..  Confused

I really hope that someone will get this job done easier when there now is atleast some information here!

Next challenge will be changing high voltage battery from p30 to p34 with new cathode Big Grin
