2023 XC40 Recharge here, bought one of these BMW ENET adapters off amazon:

Is there any way to ensure that the adapter will communicate before I go ahead with the subscription and the CEM/VGM pin retrieval service? I've tried loading up VDASH as well, but it doesn't seem to be communicating at the moment:
edit: Was able to confirm that the adapter is working on a different PC with VDASH
