How does the Config Preset work

Hi

So I have added like the B&W hardware , so after a OEM restore before going to the shop. After that visit is the intention I use Config Preset and Orbit will auto detect the B&W amp and update the car to match the hardware?

No config presets don't work that way ;-) 

Config Presets are the way I made it easier for changes to the car that require multiple individual items to be changed. It reduces confusion of having to do research in the forums or ask questions like "which items do I change to enable TPMS?". For that example, you need to change 3 different items to enable sensor TPMS (019, 020, 267). The Config Presets for TPMS make that easier.

Audio system setting is a single item, 028. For B&W set it to "03 Premium Sound Audio". 

You are still in charge of what you would like to change on your car.
