I really appreciate your help.
I have a XC60 T8 2019. Sometimes ago, 1-2 months, I have observed that the checking points from the start of the car, are yellow. These were from adaptive cruise control, signs from the road, city safety and another one. Sometimes, after a new restart were in green all but after 2-3km of driving became unavailable again and pops up the alert with Adaptive cruise control. In one day, suddenly after the start I heard a strange noise and the brake pedal was different. With this one, I had the alarm of Brake pedal has changed catachrestic. Also, I have observed that the ABS pump was off and the movement was more mechanical.
With the help of the people of Orbit, we decided that I need another break module ( used part BCM ). I have bought one and I have tried to configure it with the software from Orbit. Unfortunately, the first attempt was a failed. After flash, the car was not able to start. I have installed the old one and I have seen that the car is starting. We believe that this module is broken so I have ordered another one. This one was from 2016 and I have order one from 2019 this time.
So, is anyone that has experience with this situation in order to tell me all the steps that I need to do? In the end, is possible to change the BCM with a used spare part?
Now the car is parked, with the old BCM mounted but I have no breaks and a lot of errors. ☹
