I’ve done that and confirm I am now the owner. I dug deep last night. Volvo’s with the Sensus IHU produced after week 17 2018 have the same IHU. It actually requires attending the dealership to get a market change certificate? Can you confirm this is what you did?

I am not aware for this certificate, but they have changed the market for to activate remote engine start.

Can I ask which country you imported your car from and to? Essentially you’ve had the market changed at the dealer and the car functions as your market region should (correct navigation map region etc?) including access to the app?

From Germany to Bulgaria. All changes to the car was done with volvo dealer. I had access to the app since taking ownership, but ERS(Engine remote start) was not available until changed market/country. Regarding maps it was initially MID EU and I have changed it to Eastern Europe with no visible effect whatsoever.
