Polestar Optimization on V60 T5 Momentum
#1
Hi all,

Turned on the Polestar Optimization on my 2019 V60 T5 Momentum, however unable to locate the Polestar Optimization button on the centre screen.

The car originally does not have the following:
1. Physical "Drive Mode" scrolling switch
2. "Drive Modes" screen on the centre screen to select Eco, Comfort & etc.
3. "Individual Drive Mode" in "My Car" under Settings

Only has the "ESC Sport Mode" and "ECO" buttons in the Vehicle Functions screen below, e.g.:

Do I need to change something below, in Orbit?

Currently,
057 - Drive Mode = 01 Without drive mode switch
337 - Centre Console Switch Module = 02 With Dummy button
452 - Drive Mode Switch = 00 Undefined

Thanks!

You go back you your car later or you reset the IHU and DIM. It's going to be enabled, just your IHU hasn't picked it up yet.

My v60 seems to be an older model, where holding the home button only turns off the screen + press again goes back to the normal screen.

Unable to go through these steps to reset the IHU:
1) hold 20-30secs till the screen cleaning mode appears
2) continue to hold till the Volvo logo pops up
3) goes back to the normal screen.

Car was left overnight to "reset".

Any other methods or via Orbit?

Thks, all!

I meant with OrBit, you're correct those instructions are for AAOS and often found on the internet being parroted for use on Sensus. Ahh, Reddit.

If that doesn't work - reflash config again. Smile

Ok, I will try to reset ECU first.

If doesn't work, is it a good idea to reflash with:

057 Drive Mode to change from "01 without drive mode switch" to "03 with drive mode glass button switch in CSD".

337 (With dummy button) and 452 (Undefined) remain.

An update:
I reset the ECU, the individual drive modes under Settings did not appear.

Then, changed:
057 Drive Mode from "01 Without..." to "02 With drive mode switch"
337 Centre Console Switch Module from "02 Dummy button" to "02 Dummy button" (No change)
452 Drive Mode Switch from "00 Undefined" to "02 With drive mode knob/switch/regulator/(display)"

The individual drive modes under Settings appeared with ECO/ Comfort/ Polestar, but I lost the original ECO Drive Mode tile button on the main screen (i.e. the one where the speedo graphics changes and shows that you are coasting).

Not sure if there is a conflict between the original ECO tile button and the one under individual drive modes under Settings? Can have both at the same time?

Thanks!

057 - 02
337 - 03
452 - 02

AFAIK with these settings you can get drive modes visible and working in v60. I'm not sure does this work in -19 but it does in older v60 models according what people has reported in another topic.

Sorry I cannot found the source of this information anymore but if you try those tell us if they worked or not.

EDIT: Nevermind... Didn't read well and just noticed that you got menu visible but lost eco-button. I have never heard a solution for this.
