Rear Left Inner Parking Sensor Failed
#1
I have a rear left inner parking sensor that has failed, resulting in parking assist service errors. I have six sensors on the rear. Which one do you think it refers to? (there's an additional sensor out of view on each corner).

I see 4 sensors. Rear inner left would be the second from left side on your image.

Edit: not sure but usually start counting from the left. Do you have orbit or any other tester? Does it only say rear inner left? No numbering?

Thanks. That’s the one I’m leaning towards.

Rear left inner is what Orbit output. No number.

There’s an additional sensor on each side, out of view, by the wheel wells.

All models with only 4 sensors it's exactly like this. 1,2,3,4 from left to right and rear outer left, rear inner left, rear inner right and rear outer right.

Maybe somebody knows better?
But I checked the wiring diagramm and the parts list but in both cases no numbers or namings...

Not true.  Depending on the option level.
If the car is equipped with Semi - Automatic parking.  (Park Assist Pilot), There are six sensors on the rear and front bumpers.

The inner Left > First sensor left of the rear license plate.

Why not true? I said for models with only 4 sensors it's like this.
For 6 sensors could be different.

But anyways is there any dokument (Vida?) where you can find information about naming of the sensor?

Thanks. This is helpful

There is also another very easy way to detect a faulty sensor.
Put the car into reverse to activate the sensors and hold the brakes while another person listens closely to each sensor. A clicking noise should be heard from the working sensors. If there is no clicking noise is heard, that sensor is faulty or disconnected.
