Some cars have a physical switch on inside of door - side of dash. Those that don't would have this software switch instead. 

Airbags - don't mess with factory settings!

Hi, sorry for bringing back an old topic but I just want to know there is possibility to retrofit a cutoff switch in XC60 2021? I have plugged in new panel with the switch, changed option 132 in orbit from "without" to "with" and I have SRS errors. And now I don't know if switch can be broken or I have to change also some other option or it's just impossible to retrofit this switch.

Could be that your SRS module configuration does not support cut-off switch - jus try to SRS config reset in OrBit, it should help

You mean SRS airbag calibrate inertial sensors or SRS airbag config learn in service procedures? I have tried them both, after that all SRS looks to be down there is no info on the dash, no seatbelt reminder, also panel with SOS and Oncall buttons are greyed out.

I am still with "the passenger airbag cut off switch is present but not configured in the control module configurator.
