Does setting the 050 CHASSIE TYPE to 05 Police improves responsivness?

I just set the 050 CHASSIE TYPE to 05 Police to test the ERS by key (it works on my XC40 MY2019) and the car feels that it has improved responsiveness, acceleration, handling. Is this all in my head or does it really change how the car behaves?
