I just want to better understand what the vida blacklist means. I see it referenced a lot here.
Doing some testing with my 2016 xc70, I have attempted to order software reloads with modified CEM and all I've seen so far is the software load will fail saying the config does not match the expected config, and then I have to pay for the software again after i restore the CEM config to factory settings.
I've found doing a config test for $0.99 works to verify the config before ordering a more expensive software reload.
Is there another layer to this like you car can actually be blacklisted from connecting to vida entirely?
